The enhanced Wi-Fi option enables your station to transmit its data wirelessly to the world largest personal weather station network, Weather Underground. The remote sensor transmits outdoor temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction and rainfall data wirelessly from up to 330′ away. The base unit comes with a 5V power adapter and uses three AAA batteries (not included) as backup power. The remote sensor requires four AA batteries (not included). Weather Underground connectivity requires an active 2.4 GHz broadband internet connection and an active Weather Underground account.
